"A Fairytale as You Like It"
Does anyone know anything about "Un conte a votre facon" by Raymond Queneau (1967)? He was part of a flawed movement called 'potential fiction'--but this work is quite simple and nice. I'd like to include the work in a course I teach this fall, on nonlinear narrative.
I'm curious, in particular, if anyone knows in what 'form' this work was originally presented. I seem unable to track down reliable commentary on this piece.
It's viewable online at userpage.fu-berlin.de/~ca.../conte.cgi

Queneau
Kate,
I'm not familiar with Queneau's work, but my interest was piqued by the piece you link. I typed the name into a couple of databases and got a lot of entries- I'm not sure how many of them would be relevant, but this seems like it might be useful:
The French Review, Feb 1999 v72 i3 p557(3)
A Queneau bibliography on the Web. (Raymond Queneau) Charles Kestermeier.
Ta,
Karen
