Snow White illustrations
Last night I started thinking about Snow White and how defined she is by White, Red, and Black. My mind was running in a million different directions (those first few moments of creation are always so exciting), but one particular image struck me. Snow White with black skin and red lips and white, white hair. I'm not an artist, myself--if I were I'd have immediately pulled out the paints--but I'd very much love to see something along these lines. Has anyone here ever seen illustrations of a black Snow White? It seems like they must be out there somewhere.

No, I haven't seen that, but you're right -- I'm sure it's out there somewhere.
Speaking of illustrations for this tale, Charles Vess did some stunning ones for Jonathan Vankin's _The Big Book of Grimm_. They're beautiful, as you can see here:
