help me find illustation of boy in attic?
Hello everyone, I hope this new year finds you with excitement....
the best gift in so many ways
I am looking for an illustration I used to have a copy of..., and it is, as usual lost somewhere in the archeological layers of this lacunae that passes for a writing room that is really an exploded Turkish bazaar in disguise... lol
The illustration is by a modern illustrator in representational style, in color. it is of a boychild in the seeming attic, reading a book I belive, and overhead and behind him is, I think maybe a knight in armor on a horse?
You know in my 7th decade here, I have just read the NeverEnding story for the first time. what a wondrous experience...and it reminded me of that illustration I once had at my fingertips.
If you can help, I would appreciate it. Also if you have magic about how to keep order in decades of paper and notes and rip sheets and receipts and notes and lists and more notes and more paper... please let us know
with kindest regards,
cpe

Sorry, cpe, I can't identify the illustration. It sounds familiar, but I'm not placing it.
And The Neverending Story is wonderful. I hope you read the hardcover edition with the different colors of ink in the text. It always added to the magic for me although it proves more distracting now. As a young adult when I first discovered the book, I loved picking it up just to see the brightly colored ink .
